Retired
“This was no weak man.”
My grandfather, Pete Lopez, was killed by Memorial Hermann Sugarland Hospital COVID “Protocol.” My grandfather at 73 years old could outwork ANY MAN half his age. Retired (not by choice) was renovating his beach house, renovating the home he built with his own two hands for himself and my grandmother so many years ago. This was no weak man.
The Remdesivir
On September 6th, just a few days after his 74th birthday, he died as a result of the

Remdesivir protocol at the hospital. But not the original way. The medicine couldn’t shut down his liver or kidneys… although it tried, he fought. It attacked and filled his lungs with fluid that doctors were claiming was due to covid. Because his lungs were full of fluid, his body couldn’t filter the o2 in his blood and his heart couldn’t take it.
We Fought
“The Texas court of appeals did NOT follow the proper Texas civil procedure.”
My family fought and fought. We even won a LAWSUIT against the hospital, and they refused and were in contempt while they filed an appeal. The Texas court of appeals did NOT follow the proper Texas civil procedure. They granted the hospital's appeal without putting my family’s attorney on notice. What is happening is WRONG. It is malfeasance and my family fully intends on making Memorial Hermann pay for what they did to him.

Nobody should have to go to court to direct their own care. I'm sorry about your father and us Texans need to demand this issue gets attention and our rights are protected as patients and family members of victims
