Ellen's Story

Norton, Kansas

on January 17, 2022, the love of my life was taken from me 14 days after his 64th birthday and three days before my 62nd birthday.

My husband retired from the United States Air Force in 1994

Intubated or Die

“They more or less said that I had to do it or my husband was going to die.”

So on January 5, 2022, my husband Steven Gibson went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with Covid. Originally they were going to send him home but he didn’t have any oxygen at home. So they admitted him to the hospital and at some point started him on Remdesivir and other drugs or medications whatever you wanna call them. On January 9 the doctor called and said that my husband was very uneasy and that he needed to be intubated, they more or less said that I had to do it or my husband was going to die.

The Damage Was Done

On January 10, they found an ICU unit in Garden City Kansas, I believe it was Saint

Catherine’s hospital. On or about the 14th of January they felt that he needed dialysis but the doctor was out for four days. So now they are looking at transporting him again to Colorado Springs Colorado Saint Francis hospital and during this, he did get dialysis. However, it wasn’t enough, the damage was already done by the Remdesiver that the doctor in Norton Kansas prescribed. My husband had a history of kidney stones and it’s in his records at the Norton County Hospital, I don’t believe they ever looked at it.

Taken Away

“We couldn’t wait until the day we had grandchildren.”

The doctor In Garden City Kansas stopped the Remdesivir when he got there however he already had five doses and that was how they murdered my husband. In these pictures, the first picture is our engagement picture in May 1989, and we had a beautiful life. We enjoyed dancing, fishing, and our beautiful grandchildren. My husband retired from the United States Air Force in 1994. We moved with our two children to Norton Kansas after they graduated high school, we couldn’t wait until the day we had grandchildren.

Steven enjoyed being a United States Veteran. And on January 17, 2022, the love of my life was taken from me 14 days after his 64th birthday and three days before my 62nd birthday. I love him to the moon, he will be forever my life.

Thank you for reading my story,
