I feel that this hospital is being run more as a prison rather than a place where people go to get the care and empathy that they so deserve.
She was being held prisoner and had resigned herself that she was never getting out and they were killing her slowly.
Unvaxxed Discrimination

My heart is broken...we lost our/my mom, Annamae, June 3, 2021 at the hands of the Jupiter Hospital, Jupiter, Florida physicians, Dr. Diaz and Dr. Syed.... they are the hospitalists physicians when a patient enters the ER. Mom and dad both had covid and were treated at home and did quite well. Unfortunately, dad got a UTI from the drugs that he was given for covid, fell and was a bit delirious and needed to be taken to the ER where they admitted him. That same night, Mom's COPD acted up and the stress of what she watched Happen with dad, caused her to cough incessantly. I called the ambulance to take her into the ER the next morning for breathing treatments only. They admitted her and from what I can tell, immediately started her on Remdesivir.
When she and dad were Brought into the ER, they were both treated like second class citizens and were told by the infectious disease Dr. Diaz and hospitalist Dr. Syed that they should have been vaccinated and were made to feel very badly and upset. My mother went as far as calling and telling my younger sister that she needed to go out and get this vaccine and that she needed to take it seriously because the doctors scared my mother so badly. My sister and her husband did this and that's another story all on its own. They then placed mom and dad on the same floor in rooms across from each other, both in isolation and refused to allow them to see each other. They only allowed them to FaceTime each other once a day. Dad came home 5 days later and did well. On his release paperwork, Dr Diaz stated that dad needed to get the vaccine within one week of being released; I discussed this with dad and he did not want or trust the vaccine so that did not happen.
Breaking Her Will To Live
Being married for 69 years, they were both extremely upset by their treatment in the hospital and the isolation that they both felt and being kept from seeing each other. Mom would FaceTime me and ask me to please get her out of that hospital. I tried to speak with their Dr.s but they would not speak with me. I conversed with many nurses but they all told me that they had to follow the Dr.'s orders and could not get me in touch with her doctors. I requested that a pulmonologist see my mom for her COPD and the nurse at that time told me that Dr. Syed chose to handle full care of his patients and would not call in a pulmonologist as per my request. Mom was admitted on Wednesday morning and on Saturday morning I received a text from my sister stating that she was told that my mother was extremely anxious and that they were giving her Ativan. Knowing what I know now, I know that the Remdesivir caused this anxiety, by causing her kidneys to slow and her lungs to fill with the IV fluids, causing her to feel as if she was suffocating.
Mom called me on FaceTime on Monday and screamed for me to get her out of there and the PA for Dr. Syed, "Leslie" a black male, shut down my Mom's phone in the middle of her screaming at me. On Tuesday, she called home to say goodbye to dad and I. It was as if she was told to make this call and she had no emotions left In her; she was being held prisoner and had resigned herself that she was never getting out and they were killing her slowly. Our hearts were broken and dad and I were screaming at the iPad telling her to please come home to us. My Dad's heart was broken and still is.
A Deluge Of Corruption

On Thursday, June 3, 2022, 8 days after she was admitted, they told us that she was going to die and that we needed to start thinking about making arrangements for her body. They killed our mother! We tried desperately to have at least one of our family members be with her to hold her hand as she passed and they at first said yes, as long as they were vaccinated.....my brother Kevin was vaccinated and agreed... they then said, no sorry, he cannot go into the room because they did not know what strain he was vaccinated for. The lies that they told and the way that they killed our mother and held her hostage have left huge holes in our hearts that cannot be repaired.
There's much more to tell but in the end, I am the sole caretaker for my 93 year old dad..... losing my life and livelihood to make sure that he receives the proper care that he requires and deserves. Dad, having Dementia, makes this no easy chore. Our dad is broken hearted and can not understand why the hospital took his wife's life, not allowing him to say goodbye to her after 69 years of marriage. On June 1, 2022, my dad's blood pressure went crazy and I had to have him brought into this same hospital...I sat in that ER with him every minute....I was not about to let them harm him and possibly take his life also. As I sat there, I took pictures of the monitor and staff that tended to his care to send to my brother and sister in another state. Because I took these pictures, security was called on me.... they told me that if I did not delete the pictures taken and discontinue taking pictures while in the room with my dad, that I would have to leave. I asked who said this and they said the administration of the hospital. In my humble opinion, I feel that this hospital is being run more as a prison rather than a place where people go to get the care and empathy that they so deserve.
